Running the Neato XV Signature Pro after a battery calibration

Well, not much better results. Still seems to get blind randomly, probably 10-15 times during this run. In this video though, I was only able to capture a few stops in the beginning, and then it ran fine, and going back to the charging station.

Maybe the Neato got a little bit worried being filmed and decided to behave this time. I don't know.

 

Usually it stops much more often that this.

Interesting though was that a completly new error was displayed, something about the fan being stuck. It seemed to resolve itself from that error.

But I will go back to the store tomorrow. A friend of mine thought I should be able to get a new battery for free because of warranty. I'm not so certain about that, can they really be that generous, I'm skeptic. But we'll see what happens.

I have a big problem with technology failing, especially, when something works just fine. And then all of a sudden, it starts to fail, even though nothing happened that can explain the error.

For example, it fell down the stairs, or it ran into a bowl of water getting shortcuts... But nothing happened, it just started to behave like this. It irritates me, it destroys my day, I get angry and frustraded and I have a difficult time getting it off my mind and relax. I hate going back to the store with things.

I loved my little Neato, it was one of the best thing I ever owned. And now, it is sick like me.
